IMO Marksman hunters should deal the most damage, use the most mana, and when taking damage, die the fastest. Since hunters can’t fit any more shots into a rotation, the remaining way to enhance them is by boosting what they’re already doing. They also don’t have much raid utility at the moment so I’d like to rectify that.
Clear Focus (3/3): You have 33-100% chance to avoid interruption while using a shot with a cast time.
Nice bonus to PvP and helps with the non-hasted cast time.
Archaic Knowledge(3/3): Your arcane shots have a 15-45% chance of opening a magical rift causing all attacks against the target to inflict an additional arcane damage equal to 25% your intellect for 12s .
Weaken(3/3): Your pet’s critical strikes cause your party’s attacks to ignore armor equal to 5-15% of your RAP on that target. Lasts 8s.
Raid and group talents. Since BM is based on steady, I wanted MM to focus more on arcane. Also, notice Weaken is only a buff for physical attacks. Why try to get both magic users and melee? Focus on buffing one group and let another class/spec buff the other.
Flesh Wound(5/5): Your critical strikes cause the target to bleed for 8-40% weapon damage over 10s. Stacks up to 5 times.
How else do you get more damage in without adding more shots?
Finishing Shot(1/1): Causes your Flesh Wound effect to instantly finish, dealing 50% weapon damage for each charge.
Deals 250% shot damage instantly with a full stack and could possibly crit. A nice little addition to your rotation.
